  1. Provide 500 gms-750gms chicken
  2. Take 1/2 cup Dry coconut slices
  3. Provide 1-2 tbsp Daliya or roasted Chana dal

  5. Prepare 1/2 cup chopped coriander
  6. Prepare 1 tsp turmeric

Instructions to make Maharashtrian style Chicken:
  1. Using pressure cooker cook chicken with salt, turmeric, coriander and oil with approx 2-3 cups of water for 3 whistel.
  2. While chicken is cooking, grind a fine paste taking Drycoconut, onion, daliya, coriander, and little oil
  3. Now turn on the heat. In kadhai add remaining oil and heat it. Add add cumin seeds, curry leaves, green chillies. Sauté it for few seconds.
  4. Add fine paste of dry coconut in it. And cook it until it starts separating oil. Add powder spices at this stage.
  5. Now add just chicken pieces in it and mix it will with masala. Once all pieces coated with masala add chicken stock in it.
  6. Add little salt as we have already added it while getting chicken cooked. Bring it to boil.
  7. Once it starts layering oil on top, flame off burner. Garnish it with coriander. Serve it hot with bhakri nd rice
