- Take 2 large or 3 medium Kerala Banana (Nenthrapazham)
- Provide 2 large pcs of jaggery
- Get 1/2 tsp elaichi powder (optional)

- Cut both the head and tail of the banana and then cut it into half. Do not peel the banana skin. Make sure the bananas are ripe and sweet.
- Steam the bananas till soft using a steamer or idli-maker.
- Let it cool for 2 minutes. Peel off the skin and cut into round discs.
- In a pan, add jaggery and 2-3 tsp of water and let it melt completely. Strain the syrup to remove any impurities.
