- Soak, chana, dal chana, dal mong and dal masoor for over night.
- In a separate pot, soak rice.
- Take a pot, boil water, add dal chana, cook for 30 mints on medium flame.
- Now add remaining three lentils and soaked rice. Cook on low flame untill everything is soft
- Now add half quantity of salt and all spices and cook on low flame. Cook untill mixture get thickens
- Note: you can also cook these lentils and rice mixture in pressure cooker. It will decrease your cooking time.
- Now take an another pot, heat oil, add garlic and ginger paste, cook..
- Now add onions, fry it add yoghurt and cook on low flame to make a smooth mixture.
- Turn off the flame, set aside, let it cool
- Now put this masala mixture in blender and blender to make a paste.
- Now put this paste in pan, cook on high flame untill all water dries, now add boiled chicken or beef, and cook.
- Add remaining spices. And cook.
- When oil comes out from cornors, put chicken mixture in dal mixture, mix well.
- Continusly stir the mixture with wooden spatula.. Spread garam masala powder. And mix
- Garnish with fried onions, ginger slices, and green chillies,
