  3. Get 1 cup dal mong
  4. Prepare 1 cup dal masoor

  7. Get 2 large onions
  8. You need 1 ts garlic and ginger paste
  9. Take to taste Salt
  10. You need 4-5 ts oil
  11. Use 6-7 thin slices of ginger
  12. You need 3-4 green chillies
  13. Provide leaves Few corianger
  14. Provide 3 ts mix haleem masala
  15. Take 3 litre water
  16. You need Half ts haldi
  17. Provide Half ts red chilli powder
  18. Provide 1 cup yoghurt
  19. Get 1 ts garam masala powder
Instructions to make Degi Haleem 🍡:
  1. Soak, chana, dal chana, dal mong and dal masoor for over night.
  2. In a separate pot, soak rice.
  3. Take a pot, boil water, add dal chana, cook for 30 mints on medium flame.
  4. Now add remaining three lentils and soaked rice. Cook on low flame untill everything is soft
  5. Now add half quantity of salt and all spices and cook on low flame. Cook untill mixture get thickens
  6. Note: you can also cook these lentils and rice mixture in pressure cooker. It will decrease your cooking time.
  7. Now take an another pot, heat oil, add garlic and ginger paste, cook..
  8. Now add onions, fry it add yoghurt and cook on low flame to make a smooth mixture.
  9. Turn off the flame, set aside, let it cool
  10. Now put this masala mixture in blender and blender to make a paste.
  11. Now put this paste in pan, cook on high flame untill all water dries, now add boiled chicken or beef, and cook.
  12. Add remaining spices. And cook.
  13. When oil comes out from cornors, put chicken mixture in dal mixture, mix well.
  14. Continusly stir the mixture with wooden spatula.. Spread garam masala powder. And mix
  15. Garnish with fried onions, ginger slices, and green chillies,
  16. Serve
