- Get 1/4 teaspoon fenugreek seeds

- You need 15-16 curry leaves

- You need 3.5 tbsp coconut oil

- Soak kudam Puli in 4 tbsp warm water for 30 minutes
- Grind ginger garlic to paste
- Heat 2.5 tbsp oil in earthen vessel, splutter mustard seeds
- Add fenugreek seeds and saute until golden brown
- Add ginger garlic paste and shallots with curry leaves. Saute until onions are golden brown
- Add turmeric and red chilli powder. Mix well
- Add kudam Puli water to the vessel, salt and 1 cup water. Mix well
- Add 1 piece of kudam Puli to curry. Bring to boil
- Add fish to curry. Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes over low heat
- Add 1 tbsp coconut oil and garnish with curry leaves. Serve hot with steamed rice
