The ingredients needed to cook Beer Chili:
- Use 2 lb Ground beef or beef stew meat
- Use 1 large Onion (I use sweet)
- Use 1 large Green bell pepper
- Get 3 clove Garlic - minced
- Use 2 can 8 ounce tomato sauce
- You need 1 can 6 ounce tomato paste
- Provide 1 can 14.5 ounce diced tomatoes
- Get 8 oz Medium salsa
- You need 2 can Beer (I prefer Heineken)
- Prepare 2 can 15 ounce Kidney Beans
- Take 4 tbsp Chili Seasoning Mix (see my recipe)
- Prepare 1 tsp Ground black pepper
- Take 1 tsp Cayenne pepper
Instructions to make Beer Chili:
- Brown ground beef/beef stew meat in a large pot and season with salt, pepper, and chili powder
- While browning meat: in another pan heat olive oil (about 2 teaspoons) and add diced green pepper and diced onion. Cook until translucent and then add garlic, cook another 2 minutes. Add to ground beef/beef stew meat pot.
- Add the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil and then turn down the heat to a simmer or transfer to a crockpot.
- The longer it cooks the better it is!!!
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, and onions. Or whatever is your favorite. ENJOY!!!
Add crushed tomatoes, beans, and beer. Bring chili to boil, stirring occasionally. Add the onions, peppers, and garlic, stirring well to coat. Add the tomato paste, chili powder, cumin, oregano, paprika, cinnamon and chili flakes and stir and mash it into the pepper and onions. Mix in the diced tomatoes with juice, dark beer, coffee, tomato paste and beef broth.
